It was a super sunday where we had two double headers creating two big surprises as one hand Rajasthan beat Mumbai by 8 wickets and earlier in the day Chennai beat Bangalore by 8 wickets. Ben Stokes scored his second IPL century as Rajasthan chased down a massive 196-run target in 18.2 overs. Mumbai's stand-in skipper Kieron Pollard won the toss and elected to bat first where Hardik Pandya's blistering knock along with some important contributions from Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav and Saurabh Tiwary helped Mumbai score a mammoth 195/5 wickets in 20 overs. Ben Stokes 60-ball 107 not out and Sanju Samson's third half-century of the season propelled Rajasthan Royals to an 8-wicket victory in what was a must-win match for them. Despite Mumbai's defeat the four-time champions continue to remain at the top spot in the points table with 14 points from 11 matches. Chennai went on to win their first match after three consecutive defeats as they beat Bangalore by 8 wickets in Dubai. Three wicket-haul from youngster Sam Curran and Deepak Chahar's two wickets helped Chennai restrict Virat Kohli's led Bangalore to 145/6 in 20 overs. Skipper Virat Kohli was the only one to score a half-century. In reply, opener Ruturaj Gaikwad's unbeaten 65 helped Chennai chase down the target in the 19th over. Despite the victory, Chennai are still languishing at the bottom of the points table.
