Basketball: Warren drains 53 in big Pacers win

TJ Warren scored 53 points for the Indiana Pacers as they registered a morale-boosting win over the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. In what could be a prelude to a post-season match-up, Indiana relied almost solely on the scoring of Warren, no other player scored more than 15. The 26-year-old made nine three-pointers in a fantastic display to become the first player from the franchise with a 50-point game since Jermaine O'Neal in 2005. For the 76ers, center Joel Embiid also had an impressive game, but his 41 points and 21 rebounds proved to be in vain. With the two teams currently ranked fifth and sixth in the Eastern Conference, they could meet up again in the playoffs.
