The Boston Celtics claimed the opening game of the Eastern Conference first round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers, with Jayson Tatum their main man. The 22-year-old forward scored 32 points and added 13 rebounds in a 101-109 win at the Wide World of Sports resort in Orlando, Florida. He was ably assisted by Jaylen Brown who scored 29 points and made five three-pointers. Without the injured Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid did his best for the 76ers, but his 26 points were not enough to help clam the win.
