The Miami Heat have been crowned Eastern Conference champions, after beating the Boston Celtics 125-113 in Game 6 to claim the series 4-2. Despite picking up a wrist injury in the previous game, Bam Adebayo stole the show in this one with a double-double, that included a career-high 32 points and 14 rebounds. Jimmy Butler, Andre Iguodala and Tyler Herro also posted healthy contributions towards the Heat score, but it wasn't all plain sailing for Erik Spoelstra's team. With the game almost level come the start of the fourth, Boston found themselves with a six-point lead with just over nine minutes to go, although Game 5 star Herro would claw his team back into it. From there the Heat wouldn't look back, as they posted 13 points without response to run away from a dejected Celtics. The Heat will now line up against the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals, where they will take on LeBron James who spent four years with Miami, winning two Championships.
