Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, politicians, and big names from the sports fraternity are heaping praise on Sen, who fought brilliantly against world No.1 and Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen. India’s Lakshya Sen was praised for putting up a spirited fight in his 10-21, 15-21 loss to Axelsen. After Prakash Padukone and Pullela Gopichand’s gold in the prestigious tournament, India is still waiting for gold at the Championship. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar took to social media website Twitter to praise Sen and said failure was nothing but a chance to learn and wished him the best for his future.
