Badminton News: Litmus test for Kidambi Srikanth in Denmark Open 2020 QF

Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth sailed into the quarter-finals of the ongoing Denmark Open 2020 after a comfortable victory over Canada’s Jason Anthony Ho-Shue 21-15, 21-14 in 32 minutes. Meanwhile, the other Indian left in the fray, Lakshya Sen, lost 21-15, 7-21, 17-21 to Denmark’s Hans-Kristian Solberg Vittinghus in the second round. The 19-year-old showed some fight after being blown away in the second game, but Vittinghus was solid in defense and booked a spot in the last eight of his home event for the first time in 15 attempts. Srikanth will now face Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei.
