A day after her historic Australian Open victory, Ash Barty said it was all still sinking in.
Barty posed with her new silverware in Melbourne on Sunday after she broke a 44-year drought to become the the first Australian to win a singles title at the Australian Open since Chris O'Neil in 1978.
The world no.1 Barty also joined Serena Williams as the only active women's players to have won major titles on three surfaces, adding the hard court in Melbourne to her win on grass at Wimbledon and on clay at the French Open.
