According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, the right-arm medium pacer Deepak Chahar will be replaced by Kuldeep Sen in India’s Asia Cup 2022 squad.Meanwhile, the 15th Asia Cup is all set to take place from August 27 to September 11 in 2022.
The host nation of Sri Lanka will play Afghanistan in the opening match of the tournament, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).On Sunday, August 28, the Babar Azam-led Pakistan National Cricket Team and the Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team will square off against each other.
In total, the two teams have faced off 14 times throughout the Asia Cup till date.Notably, star pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel got ruled out of the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 due to their respective injuries.
