Tennis: Venus Williams beats Daria Kasatkina in straight sets at Miami Open

The three-time Miami Open champion, Venus Williams, set up a fourth round meeting with Simona Halep after a straight sets 6-3, 6-1 victory over Daria Kasatkina. At number 43 in the world rankings, Williams is ranked 21 places lower than Kasatkina. Williams however was unfazed by the Russian's superior ranking and broke Kasatkina's serve eight times in the match, to reach the fourth round for the 16th time in her career. Both players serve let them down in the first set, as the match opened with six straight breaks, before Williams recorded the first hold in the seventh game. The 38-year-old then rattled off nine games in a row before losing her serve at 5-1 in the second. The seven-time Grand Slam champion broke immediately back to win the match after one hour and 16 minutes on court.
