Tennis: Taylor Fritz beat Grigor Dimitrov 7-6(8) 7-6(4) in the first round of Madrid Open

USA qualifier Taylor Fritz booked his place in the second round of the Madrid Open with a 7-6(8) 7-6(4) win over Grigor Dimitrov, the former world number three. It was a first-ever main-draw win in Madrid for the American and he will now face world number one Novak Djokovic.
