Tennis: Roger Federer beats Frances Taifoe 6-4, 6-1 at Hopman Cup

Defending champion Roger Federer continued his flawless display at the Hopman Cup on Tuesday, beating American Frances Tiafoe 6-4, 6-1 at the RAC Arena in Perth. Federer, who beat world No.91 Cameron Norrie 6-1, 6-1 in his opening singles match took a while to find his groove but from 4-4 in the first set, the 20 times Grand Slam champion won the next seven games to romp to victory in 57 minutes. The victory gives Switzerland a 1-0 lead in their tie against the United States.
