Tennis: Reilly Opelka beats Pedro Sousa in straight sets at Estoril Open

Reilly Opelka moved into the second round at the Estoril Open after a straight sets 7-6, 6-4 victory over home favourite Pedro Sousa on Monday. Opelka, who is six foot 11 inches, fired down 13 aces and won seven of the last eight points to set up a second-round match against Gael Monfils of France. The world number 59 took the first set on a tie break 7-6(2), but then had to fight back from 3-0 down in the second, before eventually winning after one hour and 21 minutes on court in Portugal.
