Tennis News :Kontaveit battles through to semis after beating Golubic in three sets

Anett Kontaveit of Estonia achieved a hard-fought victory over Switzerland's Viktorija Golubic in the quarter-finals of the Eastbourne International grass-court tournament on the south coast of England on Thursday. Kontaveit's 2-6, 7-6 (2), 7-5 triumph will see her taken on Camila Giorgi in the semi-finals after the Italian eliminated top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, 7-6 (5), 0-6, 6-4.
