Tennis News : Djokovic reflects on chance to break Sampras ranking record ahead of Paris Masters

The 20-times Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic said he is 'grateful' to have the opportunity to overtake Pete Sampras for the most year-end No. 1 finishes in history. The Serbian star could clinch his seventh year-end No.1 in the ATP ranking making history on the process. Djokovic has won the Paris Masters five times already. He is set to start against Italy's Fabio Fognini or Hungary's Marton Fucsovics. It will be the first time Djokovic plays after losing the US Open final failing to complete the Grand Slam.
