Day six at the French Open saw Simona Halep dish out some brutal revenge on Amanda Anisimova. Anisimova beat Simona Halep in Paris last year, but the top seed ensured lightning didn't strike twice, thrashing her opponent 6-0 6-1. In the men's draw, there were easy wins for both Rafael Nadal and newly-crowned US Open champion Dominic Thiem. The result of the day, though, was earned by Hugo Gaston - the world number 239 stunned Stan Wawrinka in five sets.
