Newly-crowned Wimbledon singles champion Novak Djokovic admitted he was "on the back foot" against Roger Federer in their epic five-set final on Sunday. Djokovic battled past Federer in a thrilling finale that lasted just shy of five hours. Federer had earlier served for victory at 8-7 in the deciding set but Djokovic saved two championship points before sealing a 7-6 (7-5), 1-6, 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 13-12 (7-3) win. Djokovic has now won four out of the last five Grand Slam tournaments, taking his overall tally to 16 as he edges ever closer to Federer's record of 20.
