It was Saina Nehwal, who held the nerves in the end beating PV Sindhu in the Women’s Singles Badminton Final winning her second individual CWG gold medal, the previous in the 2010 Delhi Games. Saina toppled Sindhu 21-18, 23-21 in the nail-biting final match.
