Tennis News : Sabalenka eases past Pavlyuchenkova to cruise into Madrid Open final

Fifth-seeded Aryna Sabalenka ended the surprise run of Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova with a commanding 6-2 6-3 win in the second Madrid Open semi-final on Thursday evening. In the final the Belarus will face top-ranked Ash Barty who saw off 6-4, 6-3 wild-card entry Paula Badosa, the first Spanish woman to reach the semi-finals in Madrid.
