Top-ranked Ash Barty dominated in her first Grand Slam match in more than a year, dropping only 10 points in a 6-0, 6-0 rout of Danka Kovinic on Tuesday. The local favourite was pleased to be back playing in front of an ''amazing'' crowd on Rod Laver Arena. Speaking after the victory, Barty stressed that she still wants to ''grow and develop every day, to become the complete tennis player.''
