Shooting News: Chief coaches request NRAI to organise national camp

Chief national coaches in rifle, pistol and shotgun disciplines have requested to the National Rifle Association of India to organise a one-month national camp for the Olympic core group to make sure that the Indian shooters prepare well for the upcoming tournaments and also for the marqee event, Tokyo Olympics, which is to take place next year. This is to be recalled that the NRAI had postponed the compulsory camp for the Olympic core group planned from August 1 taking into account the situation out of the COVID-19. However, by following health and safety protocols, a handful of shooters who are part of the core group, have been training on their own at Dr Karni Singh Range since it was reopened for use on July 8.
