The graph of infighting between warring factions of IOA is going a notch higher with each passing day and the situation has reached such a point where being bellicose has become a norm for the IOA officials. Now in his recent move, targeting the Handball Federation of India, a complaint has been filed by IOA executive council member Bholanath Singh stating the irregularities in Handball Federation of India. As per the complaint HFI elections were held in December, 2013 and then in November, 2017 as opposed to 2016 and 2019. Singh has accused the sports ministry of selectively penalizing certain federations while ignoring others. HFI elections being cited as a case in point. The complaint has also targeted IOA Secretary General Rajiv Mehta and how his positions as President in Fencing and Kho Kho federation is illegal.
