Luka Modric claimed FIFA The Best award for 2018. Modric became the first Croatian player to win the award. He won with 29 percent of the votes ahead of Ronaldo’s 19 percent. France World Cup winner boss Didier Deschamps won the prize for best manager. Salah won the Puskas award for best goal of the season. Brazil forward Marta won the best female player award.
