Basketball: Brooklyn make playoffs after dominant 119-106 win over Kings

The Brooklyn Nets have made their second consecutive playoff after inflicting a 119-106 defeat on the Sacramento Kings, going 3-2 since the NBA restart. Jarrett Allen put on a huge performance, registering a double-double by way of 17 points and 11 rebounds - two more assists would have made that a triple-double. Caris LeVert top-scored for the Nets on 22 points, while Joe Harris was the most effective from outside the area with five-from-seven threes accounting for most of his night's 21 points. Bogdan Bogdanovic netted the game-high tally with 27 points, but it will count as no consolation to him as it will be the Nets who moves on to the playoffs. There is still hope for the Kings but with three games to play and two of those opponents being James Harden's Houston Rocets and LeBron James's LA Lakers, the odds are stacked against them.
