With Gay sex & adultery being decriminalized, what about betting?

The Government of India seems to have woken up suddenly to free us from some of the archaic laws that have been governing us and Sec 377 governing homosexuality and Sec 497 governing adultery, have now been decriminalized. But the Govt seems to have forgotten another archaic law of 1867 which is the Public Gaming act . Will the Govt legalize betting....Will it effect political sentiments.... How will it effect the Mafia that exists currently. The betting syndicates have a global nexus. Is it going to be so easy to break the existing illegal betting and gambling hegemony....get it all on Talking Turkey with Kanthi!
