The Boycott call by the IOA. Is it justified?

The Boycott threat by the IOA! The Apex body for Sports in India, the Indian Olympic Association has threatened to boycott the next edition of Commonwealth games in 2022, to be hosted in Birmingham. In a scathing letter, the IOA has implied that the CWG federation is making a deliberate attempt to stall Indias growing performance at the CWG, and Shooting being one of the top medal contributors, the absence of it, would put India on a downslide. But, what has the IOA done till date to ensure equal contribution from other sports. What has the IOA done to ensure Shooting is a core sport at the Commonwealth games. Is the IOA now creating a melodrama to salvage some of the impending lost pride and indulging in a blame game, before the flak of a poor medal tally in the Commonwealth games, comes upon it.
