Ashleigh Barty celebrated her fifth singles title of the year - and 13th of her career - at the Cincinnati Masters in Ohio on Sunday. The world number one dispatched the unseeded Jil Teichmann 6-3, 6-1 to put herself in a strong position ahead of the upcoming US Open. Teichmann had been in the best form of her life to reach the final but was outclassed by Barty, who faltered only when serving at 5-0 for the title. But an immediate break back saw Barty claim the prestigious title - without dropping a set all week - for the first time in her career. The last Australian to win the tournament was Barty's heroine Evonne Goolagong Cawley in 1973.
