An angry Novak Djokovic shouted at a chair umpire after he dropped serve while playing against Taylor Fritz in the rain at the Rome Masters on Tuesday. The defending champion served for the match at 5-4 in the second set as rain continued to fall, despite telling umpire Nacho Forcadell that his preference was for a delay. Djokovic was then broken to make it 5-5, which led to the Serb firing off a verbal volley in Forcadell's direction. The world number one's wish was finally granted and the match was then halted for around three hours. When play resumed, both players held serve in the two remaining games before world number one Djokovic claimed the ensuing tiebreaker for a 6-3, 7-6(5) victory.
