American teenager Coco Gauff ended the spectacular winning steak of Aryna Sabalenka with a straight sets victory in the third round of the WTA Italian Open in Rome on Thursday. The 17-year-old, ranked a career-high 35th in the world, secured her third career top-10 scalp with a 7-5, 6-4 victory. Gauff advanced to her fourth quarter-final of the season where she will face world number one Ashleigh Barty.
