Tennis: Halep beats Williams in Wimbledon final

Simona Halep thrashed Serena Williams to win the women's singles title at Wimbledon. The Romanian triumphed 6-2, 6-2 in under an hour on Centre Court in a one-sided final. Halep's success at SW19 gives her a second grand slam, adding to the 2018 French Open. The result means Williams misses out on equalling Margaret Court's record of 24 slams.
