Surfing: Keala Kennelly conquers massive waves to win JAWS Challenge in Hawaii

Massive 60-foot (20-metre tall) waves greeted the field for the Big Wave Tour JAWS Challenge on Monday (26th November) in Hawaii. The huge swells took their toll on both the surfers and support staff with boards and jetskis sent crashing into the rocky beach at Pe'ahi in Maui, Hawaii. Local favourite Keala Kennelly won the women's event with a score of 8.61. Andrea Moller of Brazil was second, while Hawaii's Emily Erickson took third.
