Red Bull's new driver Sergio Perez has revealed the excitement after his 'once in your life' chance of signing for the Formula One team to race alongside Max Verstappen in 2021. Perez, who will replace Alexander Albon, became Mexico's first F1 winner in 50 years with his victory this month at the Sakhir Grand Prix in Bahrain. The 30-year-old driver was facing an uncertain future after Racing Point announced in September that it would replace him with four-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel. Perez is coming off his best F1 season, finishing with 125 points in fourth place behind Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, who won his seventh championship. He was with Racing Point for seven seasons after making his debut in 2011.
