Is India going to have a football success story?

With the first Indian being elected to the FIFA executive council, is it going to change the way football happens in India. Football over the past decade has not seen any success story till date. We won the bid to host the U17 boys World cup. Did it leave a legacy behind in the country that we can cherish!!! We have also just won the bid to host the U17 Girls World cup. But, the question is...how many states in India do have a team for u13, u15, u18 girls in football. Do we need a World cup to host now, or are we trying to bite more than what we can chew!!!
