Golf: Paul Casey holds one-shot second round lead at the Valspar Championship

Paul Casey secured a one-shot lead over Dustin Johnson after the second round of the Valspar Championship. The defending champion Paul Casey shot a second-round 66 to put himself in the weekend hunt to retain the Valspar Championship. There was some concern about Casey’s game when he missed the cut at last week’s Players Championship. But the 41-year-old has shrugged off that setback and returned to the form that brought two runner-up finishes and a third place in his five events leading up to the PGA Tour’s flagship event. Paul Casey may become first back-to-back winner of the Valspar Championship. Casey carded a 6-under 66 to hold the second round lead. Dustin Johnson finished one-shot behind in second place after second round. While Jason Kokrak finished two-shot behind in third place after the second round.
