Malaysia Super League champions Johor Darul Ta'zim saw their quest for an unbeaten season ended on Tuesday after a stunning 1-0 loss at home to Petaling Jaya City. Having already clinched the 2019 MSL title, Johor were just two matches away from finishing the year without a loss. But Washington dashed Johor's hopes when he scored the winner in the 64th minute as Petaling Jaya City shocked the hosts to snap their 82-match home league record unbeaten streak. It was Johor's first league loss at home since 2012 when they were known as Johor FC and were beaten by Singapore's Lions XII.
