North Carolina Courage have earned their first regular-season win following a 5-0 rout over Racing Louisville on Friday (28 May). Defender Hailie Mace bagged a brace to complete the crushing victory after goals by Lynn Williams and Debora Cristiane de Oliveira in the second half. The Courage were 1-0 up by half-time - thanks to an early header by New Zealand's Abby Erceg in the 7th minute. This was North Carolina's first win in three matches since a 3-2 victory over Racing 3-2 in the NWSL Challenge Cup in April.
