Liberian international Kpah Shermam scored the lone goal in the 79th minute as Kedah cooled off in-form hosts Sabah 1-0 on a wet Saturday night in Kota Kinabalu. The result allowed second-place Kedah to remain four points back of Malaysia Super League leaders Johor Darul Ta'zim on 26. Sabah had not lost since a 4-1 defeat to Johor on April 6th.
