Football News: Fine on cards as clubs justify skipping Super Cup

The fate of the seven I-League clubs which unilaterally withdrew from the season-ending Super Cup, protesting against the All India Football Federation, now hangs in balance after they were charged with heavy fines and sanctions for not playing the Super Cup in March. However, the -League clubs have denied being at fault during the two-day AIFF disciplinary committee hearing that concluded on Sunday.
