Chelsea have finalised the signing of Santos and Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel.
The 18-year-old has signed a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge, albeit the club has not revealed the length of his contract.
Angelo's transfer to West London is expected to cost about €15 million (£12.8 million).
Angelo is anticipated to join his new teammates on their pre-season tour of the United States, but he will most likely be loaned out for the 2023-24 season, with Strasbourg an option.
When he made his debut in 2020, at the age of 15 years and 308 days, he became the youngest player in Brazilian top-flight history.
Angelo has remained a regular in Santos's first squad since that debut, appearing in 129 senior matches despite his age.
When he scored away to Lorenzo in April 2021, the Brazil Under-20s international became the youngest goal scorer in Copa Libertadores history.
During his stint at Santos, he scored five goals and generated ten more for his teammates.
Angelo might make his debut for his new club when they face Wrexham in their pre-season opener in Florida on Wednesday night.
Mauricio Pochettino's side will also face Borussia Dortmund in pre-season before commencing the Premier League season against Liverpool.
Angelo's arrival adds to Chelsea's hectic summer, which has seen the club sign Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, and Diego Moreira.
However, in the opposite direction, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Kalidou Koulibaly, N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Christian Pulisic, Edouard Mendy, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Cesar Azpilicueta have all left.
With so many outgoings the Blues will have a squad revamp this summer. Thus, the Argentine will require a lot of time to figure out his starting XI.
With no European football this season, Chelsea will remain fully focused on the domestic titles and this will give enough time to Pochettino to work with his team.
