Football News: Buoyed Chennaiyin FC start quest for Asian glory

Chennaiyin FC are all set to host Nepalese side Manang Marshyangdi in their second group match of the AFC Cup at the TransStadia Arena in Ahmedabad, Gujrat. Chennaiyn FC would like to put behind the disappointment of losing the Super Cup after going down 1-2 to FC Goa in the Super Cup final on April 13. Chennaiyin is eying to score their maiden win in the AFC Cup, against the Nepal League champions. Chennaiyin is currently second in the table after it drew with Minerva Punjab FC in its first home game. On the other hand the Nepalese club Manang Marshyangdi comes into the tie after a 1-0 loss to Abahani Dhaka and sits at the bottom of the table.
