Football News: Bengaluru FC win their maiden ISL title as they beat FC Goa 1-0 in the final

Bengaluru FC created history as they beat FC Goa in the Indian Super League Season 5 final to win their first ever ISL title. This was Bengaluru second final in a row and they made up for last season’s heart break as Rahul Bheke’s 117th minute header in extra time was enough for Bengaluru FC to seal the game and in turn be crowned new champions of India at the Mumbai Football Arena. Bengaluru FC had quite a few chances in the stipulated 90 mins but could not manage to close out the game. FC Goa on the other hand fought valiantly throughout the game but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be as Bengaluru FC proved to be the better team on the night.
