Football News : Ajax wants Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech while the Blues looking for Wilfried Zaha

Hakim Ziyech, a winger for Chelsea, is apparently wanted back by Ajax to take Antony's place. After agreeing to an asking price of £85 million with the Dutch champions, Manchester United now appears to be moving closer to acquiring Antony.

The Brazilian is scheduled to move to Old Trafford, thus Ajax has already started looking for potential successors, with Ziyech being mentioned as a potential choice. The Daily Mail reports that Ajax is interested in its former player, who departed the team in 2020 to join Chelsea in a £38 million deal.

But he has found it difficult to stick with Chelsea's first squad, and the addition of Raheem Sterling has resulted in even less playing time for him.

Three of Chelsea's four Premier League games this season have not included the Moroccan, who has three years left on his deal.

Ziyech has been linked to a loan move to Ajax, and any such deal is believed to contain a buy option. However, they may have to contend with Tottenham Hotspur, who have also been said to be interested.

While according to rumours, Chelsea is debating whether or not to make a last-minute attempt to acquire Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.

The Blues are trying to reinforce in the final third before the transfer season ends after Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner left. They are rumoured to be in negotiations with Barcelona to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and they have also been linked to a bid for Everton attacker Anthony Gordon.

Zaha is currently playing for Crystal Palace, but the Daily Mail claims that Chelsea are also considering a deal for the player. With less than a year left on his current contract, Zaha is rumoured to be pondering staying at Selhurst Park despite speculations that he is about to receive a new contract offer.

Although they are prioritising the transfer of Aubameyang, Chelsea has made inquiries about the possibility of signing Zaha both last year and early this summer. The forward is still a target for the club.

In his three games for Crystal Palace this season, Zaha has scored three goals, including a brace against Aston Villa on August 20.
