Angel Gomes scored the winner in the 80th minute as Manchester United defeated Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in an International Champions Cup match in Shanghai, China on Thursday. Anthony Martial opened for United in the 21st minute, but Spurs leveled through Lucas Moura in the 65th before Gomes scored to give the Reds the win. Manchester United defender Eric Bailly had to be carried off the pitch after being injured in the 53rd minute.
