Liverpool defeated Everton 1-0 as their 18-year-old Curtis Jones posted a classical goal and put the Reds through to the fourth round of the FA Cup. Liverpool still haven't lost at home to Everton in any competition since 1999. Manager Jurgen Klopp rested his superstars for this match to field his young line-up included Jones, new signing Takumi Minamino and 16-year-old Harvey Elliott. Elliot is the youngest-ever player to start for Liverpool.
