Football: Kedah FA defeat Terengganu 3-0 in Malaysian Super League

Kedah FA defeated Terengganu FC 3-0 on Friday to move within five points of idle Johor Darul Ta'zim at the top of the Malaysian Super League tables. Jonatan Bauman opened for Kedah on a penalty in the 24th minute then Zaquan Adha doubled Kedah's lead eight minutes later when he pounced on a ball deflected forward by a Terengganu defender then slipped past the goalkeeper to score and make it 2-0 to the hosts at halftime. Spaniard Fernando Rodriguez scored in the 72nd minute to cap a 3-0 Kedah victory that left the Red Eagles third on 15 points, five behind idle leaders Johor Darul Ta'zim. Johor are at Petaling Jaya City on Saturday.
