Football: Juve beat Conte's Inter in ICC

Juventus defeated Serie A rivals Inter Milan 4-3 in a penalty shootout Wednesday in Nanjing, China to win their first match of the International Champions Cup. Merih Demiral scored the winner in the sixth round of the shootout to clinch the victory for the Italian champions after Gianluigi Buffon had made three saves. Inter Milan opened in the 10th minute when Matthijs de Ligt knocked in a free kick for an own goal in his first start since joining Juventus to make it 1-0, but Cristiano Ronaldo equalised in the 68th to send the match to a shootout.
