Football: Jets shock Sydney FC with late winner to delay the Premier's Plate title

Sydney FC have been denied a record fourth A-League Premiership – temporarily, at least - after Newcastle Jets stunned the reigning champions with a 2-1 victory on Tuesday night. Substitute Kosta Petratos scored right on 90 minutes to seal the win. Kosta's maiden goal in the competition means Sydney must wait until at least their next match to lift the Premiers' Plate. The Sky Blues still need a point from their remaining four games to claim the crown.
