Self-inflicted wounds largely contributed to Lazio's 2-1 home defeat by Hellas Verona in Italy's Serie A on Saturday. Manuel Lazzari showed exactly why he isn't a defender when he smashed Federico Dimarco's effort past his own goalkeeper on the stroke of half-time. Eleven minutes after the restart, Lazzari showed exactly why he is a midfielder - his ball into the centre finding Felipe Caicedo, who then added an excellent finish. But a sloppy piece of defending by Stefan Radu handed the visitors the three points. Adrien Tameze latching onto this under-hit backpass and scoring the 67th-minute winner. Verona improve to sixth - Lazio drop to eighth.
