Borussia Dortmund kept pace with leaders Bayern Munich in the German title race with a 4-0 win at Freiburg, a result that means there is just a point between the two sides with only four games remaining in the season. 19 year-old England international Jadon Sancho got the ball rolling with his 11th goal of the season in the 12th minute, but it was not until the second half that Dortmund pulled away. Marco Reus made it 2-0 nine minutes after the restart and the Dortmund skipper turned provider with eleven minutes left, setting up Mario Gotze for the third. Freiburg's Pascal Stenzel was then penalised for handball in the home penalty area and seven minutes after coming on as a substitute, Paco Alcer converted from the spot.
