An impressive second half performance helped Al Wahda seal their spot in the final of the Arabian Gulf Cup after overcoming Baniyas 4-1 at the Al Nahyan Stadium on Friday. Khalil Ibrahim opened the scoring for Henk ten Cate's side in the second minute of play, but Pedro Conde replied with an equaliser for Baniyas in the 13th minute. Two goals from Sebastian Tagliabue and one from Leonardo De Souza saw Al Wahda beat Baniyas 4-1 for the second time in the same week. The defending champions had defeated Baniyas in the Arabian Gulf League with the same result on Monday. In the Arabian Gulf Cup final, Ten Cate's men will face Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, who beat Al Nasr 3-1 on penalties on Friday.
