Football: Al Najma and Al Jazeera draw 1-1 in Group B of the AFC Cup

Bahrain's Al Najma and Al Jazeera of Jordan played out a one-all draw in Group B of the 2019 AFC Cup on Monday. Visitors Al Jazeera took the lead in the 18th minute thanks to Mahmoud Al Mardi's long-range strike. Ebrahim Habib then levelled matters on 31 minutes with a looping header. The best chance of the second half came Al Jazeera's way in the 51st minute but keeper Ahmad Abdulrasool kept out Ahmad Alessawi's strike.
